A wide variety of topics are presented in this course. These topics include:  diagnosis, treatment planning, case presentations, orthodontic problem solving.

Training would take place at the state-of -the-art phantom heads lab of An-Najah National University.

Trainees are encouraged to demonstrate orthodontic cases from their own private clinics, discuss diagnostic measures and treatment planning. Treatment development and ultimate results would be also assessed by trainees.

Acquired Skills

  1. Diagnose different types of dental and skeletal malocclusions.
  2. Construct a logical treatment plan
  3. Select adequate orthodontic removable and fixed orthodontic appliances.
  4. Take orthodontic alginate impressions, pour plaster study models with proper trimming.
  5. Conduct diagnostic analysis on study models.
  6. Demonstrate manual dexterity in banding and bonding fixed ortho appliances on phantom heads with malocclusion (hands-on training).
  7. Debond dental brackets.
  8. Construct different (removable & fixed) retainers.
