The Continuing Education Center at An-Najah National University recently hosted a graduation ceremony for participants of the Japanese Language for Beginners Course. This course, spanning 40 training hours, was designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the Japanese language and culture.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Japanese Ambassador, the Academic Vice President Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Khayyat, the Director of the Continuing Education Center Dr. Mohammad Sabbah, the Dean of Student Affairs Mr. Mohammad Al-Daqa, and the course trainer Ms. Raya Al-Lahham.

In his remarks, Dr. Sabbah highlighted the significance of offering language courses that not only enhance students' communication skills but also broaden their understanding of different cultures. He extended his gratitude to His Excellency the Ambassador for his ongoing support of the course and expressed hope for the continued availability of such educational opportunities.

Ms. Al-Lahham, the course instructor, expressed her pleasure in teaching the students and emphasized the importance of learning new languages. She noted that acquiring foreign language skills can be crucial for those seeking scholarships, pursuing careers abroad, traveling, or participating in student exchange programs.

The Japanese Language for Beginners Course covered essential aspects of the language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
