An-Najah National University’s Innovation Park Concludes Comprehensive Orthodontics Course

An-Najah National University’s Innovation Park has successfully concluded a year-long intensive training course in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, in collaboration with the university’s Faculty of Dentistry. The comprehensive course covered a wide range of topics related to this specialty, starting from the early stages of fetal development and congenital malformations of the face and jaws, and moving on to the various forms of malocclusion, with a focus on different diagnostic methods and modern treatment procedures.

The course also delved deeply into the biological and mechanical foundations of orthodontic treatment, as well as contemporary devices and techniques in this specialized field.

Dr. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of the University, met with the course participants in the presence of Dr. Nabil Masad, Consultant Orthodontist and Dentofacial Orthopedist/Director of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at An-Najah National University, who oversaw the teaching and training of the participating doctors, in addition to Dr. Mohammad Sabbah, Director of An-Najah Academy for Training, and in the presence of the Innovation Park team. During the meeting, the participants' opinions and recommendations were heard, and they unanimously agreed on the value and importance of the course, especially since some of them had participated in previous courses inside and outside Palestine, and they emphasized the significant qualitative superiority of this course in terms of content and style compared to its predecessors.

The participants also stressed the need to continue organizing such courses, in various fields of dentistry, and at advanced levels, in light of the advanced technologies that An-Najah University provides, which are unique in the Middle East.

In this context, Dr. Zaid, President of the University, affirmed the university's commitment to fulfilling its noble mission of providing continuous education to all segments of society through organizing training courses in all fields that meet the needs of each group. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Zaid, President of the University, graduated the participating doctors, wishing them success and affirming that the Faculty of Dentistry is always open to all participants for any consultation or participation in any joint research or scientific papers in this field.
