An-Najah University's Innovation Park Launches Free Cybersecurity Training Courses

An-Najah University’s Innovation Park, in collaboration with Fortinet, a global leader in cybersecurity, has launched a series of free training courses aimed at addressing the increasing demand for cybersecurity skills in the global market.

This initiative will benefit over 350 students majoring in computer science and information technology, offering them the opportunity to enhance their expertise in this critical field.

The training program covers 12 comprehensive levels, focusing on key topics such as security-based network support, adaptive cloud security, and AI-driven security operations. The courses will be delivered online and will include virtual simulation labs, providing participants with an interactive and immersive learning experience.

Upon successful completion of the courses, participants will receive certificates from both Fortinet and An-Najah University. This exclusive training program, offered at no cost, is designed specifically for An-Najah University students, preparing them to navigate the evolving challenges of the cybersecurity landscape.

The launch event was attended by Dr. Mohammad Sharaf, Director of the Innovation Park, and Dr. Mohammad Sabbah, Director of the Training Academy. Dr. Sharaf underscored the program's importance in equipping students with essential cybersecurity skills and knowledge. Dr. Sabbah emphasized the high standard of the training programs offered by An-Najah Innovation Park.

Engineer Ibrahim Omariyah, the technical supervisor of the training, provided a detailed overview of the program, highlighting its practical, hands-on approach that allows students to apply their learning to real-world scenarios.
